In the real world, we see peoples for their appearance. It’s same in cyberspace, visitor first look at the blog of design. That’s why design is very vital for a blog.

If we have good blog design, visitor will feel comfort, and probably will visit regularly to our blog. But if our blog have ugly looks, visitor will leave our blog. At least he’s been to our blog just a few minutes, even seconds. Here are some aspects that make the design a blog better.

SIMPLE, MINIMALIST

A blog should have a simple design and minimalist. Minimalist here does not mean sober, white without any decoration. Minimalists’ means not a lot of festive decorations do not focus too much on the details. The use of the widget is not too crowded. Suffice it to list of posts, Shout box, and hit counters. A simple blog design not only makes your blog visitors are not tired of seeing us, but also speed up loading the blog. Most visitors do not want to wait for long. COLOR SELECTION

Most people choose black or white color to be used as the background color. Actually more people comfortable reading the blog with white than black. White background makes the blog seem more spacious. The white color is also more perfect paired with a variety of colors. But black is also an advantage. That does not make tired eyes. In the physical sciences, the color black will absorb all the rays. In contrast to the white color that reflects all the rays of light and heat so memorable. Please do not forget to consider the font color. A good font color is a color that contrasts with the background color. SIDEBAR IN RIGHT OR LEFT?

Actually there is nothing wrong if we choose right or left sidebar. After all, everything looks good. But I tend to prefer the sidebar on the right. Why? Because people read our article from left to right. That means the likelihood people will see the widget after reading the article. Try if mounted on the left, people will concentrate more into our widget before reading our article. Visitors only came to see our widget regardless of what we write.

2 OR 3 COLOUMN?

Most bloggers using 3 COLOUMN. Maybe they think with 3 coloumn, they can take advantage of the blog design as much as possible. When we decided to use 2 coloumn 3 coloumn or should we consider our goal to build a blog. If our aim is mild, for example just want to write our thoughts, and widgets are also not too much, then the second coloumn is the right choice. At June of last year, many of blogs pagerank change. Most of them get decreasing pagerank significantly. My blog drop from PR4 to PR2, this condition directly affected to my earning. This is not happened to me only, many blogger also affected.

And since I believe there’s impossible to change it, or asking for change to Google, I just keep silent, mad inside but keep trying to increase the page rank. Pagerank is backlinks, you want good pagerank, and you should increase your backlinks.

Actually, most important is not pagerank but traffic. Good traffic tells people your blog quality. Many traffic will shows that your visitor happy with your blog and returned. Good backlinks will increase your traffic automatically. So, it’s worth to make link exchange or buy backlinks to high traffic website.

At this year, Google makes changes to its algorithms. And again many of blog suddenly disappear from Google search engine. Some rumors telling about Google Dance, Google Sandbox and Banned. And again, there’s no documentation about this. What we can do is just trial and error, thing about some possibilities, make changes and test the result.

I really hope Google will not change my blog page rank this midyear. It’s really sucks to put backlinks everywhere. Anyway, keep working and keep earning.

Well, you may follow these tips and check the effect to your website seo:
1. Title

It is a must to include your keywords inside title. Title is the first sentences that Google read and crawl. So, you have to understand, what’s your blog tell about, make a list of keywords and put it in one by one to your title posts.

 

2. Unique

Do not copy-paste the article. You should create by yourself, with your own world. That’s the only way you make unique contents. That’s also making you cleverer.

Google have scammer, spammer and copier. Don’t make yourself one of them.

 

3. Regular

Update your blog regularly. Surely 5-6 post per day is very good. But 1 post per day also enough. I think its better you post a lot while your blog is new. This is not for Google but for your visitor. You will not spend a lot of time with 1-2 post of blog, right. I think 100 unique posts for beginning is good. And continue with 1 post per day or minimum 2 posts per week.

Don’t leave your blog without update; Google will deindex your blog.
4. Marking

I’m not sure about this one. But some friends recommend doing marking at your post. Just make bold or italics for your keywords possibly will increase SEO. At least your visitor will remind your theme and keywords. That’s also advantage for you.

 

5. Backlinks

More Backlinks will affect to your pagerank and seo. You may put Backlinks at forums, signature, Facebook, Friendster, another blog or ads.

The best choice is Adwords, because Adwords is Google, so put it in Adwords will kick your blog to the top. Unfortunately its paying service. And I hate to pay.

Best Color Combinations for your Website or Blogs

Choosing the right colors and combinations are important in any web design. The combination of a matching color will follow the success of traffic earned, otherwise if the color would make the web unnoticed and no visitors.
Make sure you pick suit color to theme of website. Pink is not too suitable with politics theme, or something like that. Colors can be referenced from the colors in the logo. So that the web would be beautiful but still succeed the ‘brand’ from the owner.
